So as you may or may not have noticed by now, I'm extremely influenced & inspired by music. This is one of my favorite Nirvana songs, despite it's dark nature. It was written about an actual kidnapping & rape of a girl in Tacoma, Washington in 1987.

When I was listening to this song a few months ago, this vision of a girl trapped in a bird cage popped into my head. Oddly enough, it's my friend/model's favorite Nirvana song, so she was super excited when I told her what we were doing.

There originally was going to be three photos, but I decided a pair of Polly pictures (hehe alliteration for the win) would work just fine. (That and I'm impatient and really wanted to share these ASAP.)

I don't do composites often, and I am still learning, so please be gentle...
