Jesus Christ, Girl...
What are people gonna think
When I show up to one of several funerals
I've attended for grandpa this week
With you
With me
Someone's got to help me dig
Someone's got to help me dig
So here's Taylor, yet again. I spent nearly my entire weekend hanging out with her (which means I obviously had a good time in Albany). On one of the nights someone had an idea, and I of course couldn't say no to photographing her (because she is so easy to photograph omg). I told her to make her hair kinda retro, and then I laid in some ridiculous positions, and nearly fell off the bed... (you try standing on a mattress and hold your balance, I dare you!)
These kinds of sessions are super fun. It's usually just me and the subject in a private, comfortable place (in this case a semi-poorly lit room in the middle of the night), good music, and lots of laughs. I especially enjoy them because everyone deserves to feel great about themselves, and this is a surefire way to do it. I am very happy I'm able to provide people with that sense of confidence.
I edited this set to Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings. I realize the above lyrics don't make much sense when placed next to these pictures, so I suggest listening to the song while going through. It's a groovy tune. (If you like Fleet Foxes, this is their former drummer!) And if you read what the song is about, it'll click. I won't tell you what it is, you will have to look it up for yourself. ;)
She hated this one after I took it. I am really glad I didn't delete it because this is one of my favorite photographs I've ever taken. I think she looks PHENOMENAL,
