My head's under water
But I'm breathing fine
You're crazy and I'm out of my mind
'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginning
Even when I lose I'm winning
'Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh-oh
Give me all of you, oh

Six years ago, I had the privilege of photographing Sarah and Travis’ wedding.
At that time, I had just ended a long-term relationship a few weeks prior. Honestly, I wasn’t in the best of spirits pulling in and getting ready. I left my emotions at the door and got to work.
As the day progressed, I could just see how much they were absolutely crazy for each other. Head-over heels in love. They were just so darn cute, and I loved their energy - so chill and go with the flow - but at the same time, they were ecstatic to be married.
They made me excited to find love, and hopefully one day be married myself.
It took a few years, but eventually I found the same happiness that they had (and clearly still have).
For the last few years I had been patiently waiting to see a baby announcement, and sure enough, one rolled around finally. As you might imagine, I was over-the-moon thrilled for them, and even more happy when we finally scheduled out a time for them to sit in front of my camera again.
Let me tell you what. Their daughter was the cutest little squish I had seen in so long, and she made my job ridiculously easy. Not a fuss or cry from her once. Just smiles and coos. If it weren’t for the current pandemic going on, I would have been content with snuggles.
The shoot itself was quicker than usual (stroke of bad luck with the outlet I chose to charge my battery with… lesson learned). But I lucked out with everything else. At the end of the day, I just feel so fortunate to know such kind and caring people.
